Back in the Saddle Again!

“I’m back in the saddle again.”

This expression means to do something again, especially after a long time away. It comes from the life of cowboys. A saddle is the thing they put on their horses to ride.

Examples:

“The football player missed last season because of an injury, but now
he’s back in the saddle again.”

“The office manager took 10 years off to raise her children, but she’s back in the saddle again.”

It’s been a long time since I posted to learn.co.kr but I’m back in the saddle again!
