It's a classic.

Most students know the word “classical” as in classical music.

However, the word “classic” can be used in many situations.

“Classic” means something that was beautiful and/or great in the past and is still beautiful and/or great today.


“My friend really likes classic cars. His favorite is the ‘68 Mustang.”

“Levi’s 501 are classic blue jeans. They will never go out of style.”

“You should watch the movie “Casablanca.” It’s a classic.”

“Walt Disney made many classic animation films: “Bambi,”  “Pinocchio,” “Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs” etc.

“Many songs by the Beatles have become classics. My favorite is “The Long and Winding Road.”
